About this Speaker

Ye Zhang Pogue, Ph.D., is a health policy researcher and behavioral scientist. She explores the concept of "identity" in American culture through writing and engaging in conversation with persons holding different views. Because of her personal experience of living and coping with bipolar disorder and its stigma, she has developed a unique way of seeing the world and herself through the lens of common humanity. She writes for Psychology Today blog "The Human Identity". Her work has been published in Newsweek and Substack of Foundation Against Intolerance and Racism. She is the Vice President of nonprofit organization Asian Americans for Equal Rights.
