About this Speaker

Beth Feeley is a Senior Advisor at the Woodson Center, a community empowerment  organization founded by Robert Woodson, Sr.  Beth served as launch director for the Woodson Center’s 1776 Unites initiative and oversees the development of its school curriculum. She is co-host of “Take Back our Schools” on Ricochet Network with Andrew Gutmann, a podcast which covers education issues from a parent perspective. As a freelance writer, Beth’s work has been published in National Review, The Federalist and Chicago Tribune. At a local level, Beth founded and runs a local community organization, New Trier Neighbors, which promotes common sense policies in local government and schools through special events, regular email updates and targeted issue campaigns designed to educate and inspire local residents to take action. Previously, Beth worked in consulting and public relations for Hill and Knowlton and Arthur Andersen for a variety of Fortune 500 companies and is a founding member of The Policy Circle, a nationwide women’s leadership and policy discussion network. Beth lives in the north suburbs of Chicago with her husband and three children. She is a graduate of Miami University of Ohio (B.A.) and Northwestern University (M.S.).
